Flower display at local restaurant Royal Host
Dear Flower LoverShe was jumping around the manager from our local family restaurant Royal Horst!!!
Where ever you come with your beautiful hand made bouquet or arrangement you will get a big smile. What a great job we have !!
The other day after the video shooting day we donated some arrangement to the local family restaurant and the manager was so happy with our flower arrangement that she was jumping around.
Especially the nice happy reaction from her customers make her so happy.
Do you also like to make people happy with your hand made flower design and become a professional flower designer?
Then now is your chance 3 March we have DFA open lesson day in our atelier in Yokohama..
One day you can feel, see and join our lesson and make a hand tied bouquet.

Eeeeeeeh…. talking to flowers???
Dear Flower LoverTears rolling over my cheeks the other day, I could not make the hand tied bouquet exactly half ball in rings. For 40 years I am making hand tied bouquets but I couldn’t do it.
Worrying about my mother and all our belongings….. she moved to a care house. “Focus Focus Focus” came to my mind…..drying up my tears 😭 looking at the beautiful Roses I start talking to them where and how she is most beautiful in the bouquet. I start all over again making the hand tied bouquet talking, looking and focusing and yes I made it again! How healing hand made bouquet can be with fresh flowers!🙏🌹🙏🌹🇳🇱🍀 Let’s focus on this moment, appreciating the fresh flowers and share our passion for flower power.

2018年レッスンはじまります。
明日から2018年のアトリエレッスンが始まります。2月に試験を控えたオランダ国家認定資格DFAレッスンからスタートです。
冷え込んだ今朝、花市場に仕入れに行ってきました。
寒い季節ですが、花市場には春のお花がでてきています。
カラフルな花市場、心はウキウキ、ドリーン先生もスマイルです。
レッスンで生徒さんにお会いできるのを楽しみにしています！

デモンストレーションの作品
12月16日横浜山手西洋館ベーリック・ホールで行ったデモンストレーションの作品もう１つは太い白樺の切り株を使ったデザインです。
かなり大きくて重い白樺の切り株
ドリルで穴を開け、ワイヤーを何本も立てています。
オランダから買い付けた、苔のついたボンサイウッドとアクリルチューブを取付けました。
お花は白いシクラメンのみ。
雪の下からシクラメンが咲き始めた、凛としたイメージのデザインです。
カラフルな色使いのイメージがあるドリーン先生ですが、白一色でも力強いドリーン先生らしいデザインでした。

Happy New Year 2018
あけましておめでとうございます。2018年もよろしくお願いします。
フラワーパワーを皆様とシェアして2018年戌年も楽しい毎日を過ごしたいと思います。
2018年のレッスンカリキュラムも今考えおりますので、少しお待ち下さい。
2018年2月25日のオランダ国家認定資格DFA/ADFA試験に向けて、1,2月は集中して生徒さんをサポートしていきます。

オランダ Mobachのゴールドのベースを使いました。
Cymbidium ブラウンのシンビジュウム
Nandina domestica 黄色の南天
Alnus firma ヤシャブシ
Aviscum album ヤドリギ
Salix koriyanagi コリヤナギ
ゴールドに合わせた花材。
ドリーン先生には珍しい花、色を使用しました。
ゴージャスなクリスマスデザインです。
デモンストレーションではもう１つ作品を作りましたので、またご紹介しまね。

オランダブランドPTMD＠南青山SPOONBILL
ベーリック・ホールでのクリスマス装飾にオランダブランドPTMD製品を使わせて
いただきました。
根津美術館近くの南青山SPOONBILLさんで
ベースをお借りしたので、撤収翌日12/27に
返却に行ってきました。
ベーリック・ホールのダイニングルームの
サンゴミズキとサンキライの大きな装飾に
使用した大きなベース
とっても重くて、女子２人では持ち上がらず
搬入・撤収時も男子２人体制で運びました。
50kgとも60kgともいわれていましたが
SPOONBILLの男子スタッフさん、１人で
車から降ろして店内へ。
花男子、素晴らしいです。
南青山SPOONBILLさんでは、PTMD製品も
取り扱っていますが、フラワーショップも
あります。
オススメの素敵なショップです。
SPOONBILLのスタッフさん、皆さん
笑顔で迎えてくださって、とっても嬉しい
仕事納めとなりました。

オランダのクリスマス ＠ベーリック・ホール終了しました。
12/1 – 12/25 横浜山手西洋館イベント世界のクリスマス 無事終了しました。
期間中たくさんの方がベーリック・ホールを訪れ
オランダのクリスマス装飾を楽しんで頂けました。
12/23は祝日の土曜日ということもあり
ベーリック・ホールだけで約5,000人の方が来館されたそうです。
期間が長く、出展された生徒さんもメンテナンスが大変だったと思います。
１日おきにメンテナンスにいらした生徒さんや、
ハンドタイドブーケのガラスベースのお水交換、
他の生徒さんの分もすべて換えてくださっていた
生徒さんなど、お花に関わる大事なことを
皆さんにしっかりこなして頂けました。
生徒さん同士の横のつながりも広がったようで
とてもうれしく思います。
今回、オランダのPTMD日本代理店の
阪神トレーディング様 及び
クリザール・ジャパン様にご協賛頂きました。
ありがとうございます。
たくさんの方に支えられたイベントでした。
ドリーンフラワーデザイン10周年イベント
最後のイベントも皆様のおかげで無事終了できたことを心より嬉しく思っています。

Warm Christmas Flower Night in Berrick hall
Dear Flower LoverYes it was a great party 16 December meeting
my first students from 1990 in De Master Flower
School again and our DFA and ADFA students and
total new people for me.
I enjoyed giving the demonstration with
live Christmas piano 🎹 🎶 music,
and my new star Akari chan as assistance.
The catering was delicious as well the cake 🍰 🎂.
Our first flower power bingo was fun all the
presents 🎁 where gone in no time.
All students who participate in our event got
our first best selection Desktop Calendar 2018
that will give them flower power for 365 days!!
We will share the photos from our camera man as soon
we reseive them.
Special thanks to you for joining our party,
for all students who join our exposition and doing
a great maintenance job!!! I am proud of you all !!!
Let’s keep sharing our passion for flowers with
our friends and family to make you and them happy.

オランダのクリスマス＠ベーリック・ホール横浜山手西洋館
12/1 – 12/25 横浜山手西洋館イベント世界のクリスマス たくさんの方にご来館頂いています。
ベーリック・ホールはオランダのクリスマス
1階のダイニングルームと広いリビングルームは
ドリーン先生のデザイン
2階はすべて生徒さんの作品です。
お部屋の色にあわせた作品がたくさん並んでいます。
準備から搬入、ベーリック・ホールでのワークショップ
ウォームクリスマスフラワーナイトなど
たくさんご報告したいことがありますので
順番にブログにアップしていきたいと思います。

16 steps to join the Dutch Flower Exposition
Dear Flower LoversHow are you?
I am so proud of you all who join our
Dutch Christmas Exposition in Berrick hall,
Yamate, Yokohama.
It is a real project for you as well here
the 16 steps.
1) Thinking about your design considering the matrix
DFA / ADFA
2) Drawings
3) Colors choice
4) Flower choice > strong flowers/ leafs because of the duration of the event
5) Discuss with Dorien
6) Buying all the materials (early in the morning going
to the flower market)
7) Making your design
8) Deliver it in Berrick hall
9) Check discuss the location
10) Put cellophane under your base to protect the
antique drawer.
11) Take photos and share on our FB Dutch Flower
Arrangers Group
12) Maintenance (floral foam, every other day is ok,
water tube need every day Chrysal water refill.
If you use Chrysal miracle mist be sure that the
antique furniture not become wet.
13) Connect with your co-students FB platform Dutch Flower Arrangers Group to help each-other with
maintenance.
14) Replace flowers if needed
15) Final clean up
16) Join the Dutch Christmas party and maybe you get a price ????
